When you need a client to do something, or your need information from them, you can create a task.

For example, you might create a task when you want to send them a document to review, or to request source documents for transactions you're coding in their file.

When you can create a task, the details and any attachments will be listed in the client's portal, and they'll receive an email notification. When they complete the task, or add comments, you'll receive a notification.

Tasks enable you to include your clients into your practice workflows, thereby simplifying and improving your relationship.
