You can use a backup code instead of an authentciation code if you don't have access to your 2FA device or email account. Each code can only be used once, and you need to get them in advance.

Download your backup codes when you first set up 2FA, or later from the Security Centre.

Download your backup codes
  1. Sign in to the Security Centre and click Display Backup codes.
  2. Save or print your codes, and keep them somewhere safe.

Lost your backup codes?

If you're having trouble accessing your account, and don't have your backup codes, you may been locked out. You'll need to call us to recover your account and log back in.
