MYOB Team enables you to clock on and off, submit timesheets and view your rosters with a quick tap.

Your timesheet hours will be sent directly to MYOB, making the pay run process quicker for your employer—so you'll get paid faster.

If you’ve been invited to use MYOB Team, let's get started.

 

Install MYOB Team and sign in

Install MYOB Team and sign in

When your employer invites you to MYOB Team, you'll receive an email with links to download the MYOB Team mobile app. Can't find the email? Ask your employer to resend it, or check your spam folder.

Once you've downloaded the app to your phone, follow the steps below to sign in.

Sign in to MYOB Team

  1. Open the MYOB Team app on your phone.
  2. Enter your MYOB account details and tap Sign in.

  3. If you don't have an MYOB account:

    1. Tap Create an account.

    2. Create a new account using the same email address the invitation was sent to, and specify a password.

    3. When prompted, tap Return to MYOB Team and sign in with your new account details.
  4. On the Set passcode screen, enter a 4-digit passcode. This will make signing in faster.

  5. Tap Next. You're ready to start recording your time.

Having trouble signing in? Make sure you set up your MYOB account using the same email address your employer has on record for you. If you still can't sign in, ask your wmployer if they've assigned you an approving manager for MYOB Team.

The method you'll use to submit your time depends on how your employer set up MYOB Team.

See below for steps on each method:

  1. Open the MYOB Team mobile app and go to the time screen, . Then, when you:

    1. Start work, tap Start shift.

    2. Take an unpaid break, tap Start break.

    3. Return from the break, tap End break.

    4. Clock off for the day, tap End shift. A summary of your shift appears.

  2. Review the summary and add a note for your manager if required.

    Only approving managers can edit the time you've recorded, so if you want to correct anything, add a comment.

  3. Tap Submit to submit your time for approval. 

  4. Tap Done.

  1. Choose your name from the list of employees. You'll need to do this each time you use the kiosk. Then, when you:

    1. Start work, tap Start shift.

    2. Take an unpaid break, tap Start break.

    3. Return from an unpaid break, tap End break.

    4. Clock off for the day, tap End shift. A summary of your shift appears.

  2. Review the summary and add a note for your manager if required.

    Only approving managers can edit the time you've recorded, so if you want to correct anything, add a comment.

  3. Tap Submit to submit your time for approval. 

  4. Tap Done.

  1. Open the MYOB Team mobile app and go to the time screen .

  2. Tap ‘+’ to add a timesheet.

  3. Choose the Date (if not the current day).

  4. Choose the Location.

  5. Enter Start shift time.

  6. Enter End shift time.

  7. Enter Start break time.

  8. Enter End break time.

  9. Add a Note for your manager if required.

  10. Tap Submit to submit the timesheet for approval.

  11. Tap Done.

Submit an activity using the mobile app

If your business uses activities to track the costs of its services and bill customers, you can submit those activities using MYOB Team mobile app. Then, each shift will include time-billing activity details that your employer can then use to bill customers. 

  1. On the time screen tap ‘+’ to add an activity.

  2. Choose the Customer for whom you performed the activity.

  3. Choose the Activity.

  4. Choose Date (if not the current day).

  5. Choose the Start time and the End time. The Total Hours are calculated.

  6. (Optional) Choose a Job.

  7. Tap Submit to submit the activity for approval.

  8. Tap Done.
Edit or delete timesheets and activities

Edit or delete timesheets and activities

If your timesheet (or activity) is pending approval, you can still make changes or delete it. Approving managers can also edit employee timesheets prior to approving.

You can make these changes in the mobile app.

Only an approving manager can change clock on/clock off time that's been recorded in the mobile app or tablet kiosk.

  1. On the time screen, tap the timesheet or activity you want to edit.

  2. Tap into the timesheet or activity to make your change, or tap Delete to delete it.
  3. Once you've made your edits, tap Submit for your timesheet to be approved.

  1. Tap More

  2. Tap Timesheet approval.

  3. Select the Date range.

  4. Tap the Name of the employee to view their daily view of timesheets or activities.

  5. Tap Edit.

  6. Once you've made your changes, tap Save.

Approving managers can use the mobile app to approve timesheets or rosters for each of the time capture methods. 

  1. Tap More

  2. Tap Timesheet approval.

  3. Choose the Date range.

  4. Tap the employee's name to see their daily view of timesheets or activities.

  5. Tap Approve submitted or Approve rostered.

View rosters

View rosters

You can view your roster in the mobile app. Just tap Roster  to see the details.

Approving managers can also view staff rosters. Tap More and then tap Staff roster.

Tapping More gives you access to these functions:

Set passcodeIf you've set a 4-digit passcode to speed up sign in, this lets you change that passcode.
Switch businessIf you've been invited to use MYOB Team from more than one business, this lets you switch business you want to work with.
Sign outSign out of the app and return to the sign in screen.
