The following issue has been identified and replicated by MYOB Support in Advanced People version 2016.1.6.

Issue

We have found that upon upgrading to v2016.1.6 some Numbering Sequences that relate to Advanced People are populating a duplicate number row.

If this row appears within certain numbering sequences, it will have an impact to the various process affected, such as pay completion, GL journal creation or Payment Batch generation.

Workaround

It is advised for the user / partner to review all of the Numbering Sequences, and where a duplicate row is found, identify the row with the lowest last Number value, and delete it.

Resolution

This issue has been progressed to Product Development under Service Request 136344479099 and has been resolved in version 2016.1.7.

If a snapshot has been used taking the data back to when the numbering sequence contained duplicates, the fix in the version upgrade will be disregarded and the duplicates should be deleted as appropriate.
