This issue will be resolved in Advanced Payroll 2021.1.3.

When onboarding a new employee through MYOB Advanced Workforce Management, an issue can occur where employee ID numbering is out of sequence.

Workaround

You can work around the issue by deselecting the Auto Number option in the following situations:

  • During implementation, if the Workforce Management feature is to be enabled and an API key is required.
  • In a production site with live customers, if the Workforce Management feature has been enabled and an API key is required.
To deselect the auto number option
  1. In MYOB Advanced Payroll, go to the Segmented Keys screen (CS202000).
  2. In the Segmented Key ID field, enter EMPLOYEE.
  3. In the Auto Number column, deselect the checkbox.
  4. Save your changes by clicking the Save icon ().
