MYOB's super portal accepts contribution files created in MYOB AccountRight, MYOB AccountEdge, MYOB Essentials, MYOB EXO and MYOB PowerPay.

However, you need to make sure that the information in your MYOB software is complete and accurate. Here are some things to check in your MYOB software before you upload your first contribution file to the portal:

Check that you've recorded...Things to know
your business ABN.In AccountRight, you can enter your ABN by going to the Setup menu and choosing Company Information.
each super fund's USI and Fund Employer Number (if the fund has given you a number).To check your list of funds in AccountRight, go to the Lists menu and choose Superannuation Funds.

each employee's Tax File Number

 
each employee's date of birth 

each employee's fund details.

Ensure that each employee has been linked to a super fund and has a member number.

each employee's complete address.

Note that:

  • the Country field must contain the code AU, not Australia.
  • the State field must be either ACT, NSW, QLD, TAS, NT, SA, VIC, WA or AAT.
each employee's name according to the format required for the super portal.

Note that:

  • multi-word names must be separated by a single space
  • don't enter a space after "Mc" or "Mac"
  • don't enter a space before or after a hyphen.

(optional) each employee's phone number.

If you have recorded a phone number, it must:

  • contain digits only
  • be no more than 10 digits in length
  • include the area code for landline numbers.
