If you receive a message that your ir-Filing has failed due to the first line having invalid characters, try the following:

  • Check that the phone number does not contain brackets (go to the Tools menu and choose Options and check under the Contact tab).
  • Check that all company information is set up correctly.

When checking these things, if changes are required you'll need to Restoring your company file, make the changes and resend.
