Setting report display options

Display Options are used to control whether the report includes a cover page, a table of contents, page numbers, a company logo, watermarks and other details.

The first four options are disabled if the “Minutes” report set is selected. See Client's Reports tab.

Description

Cover Page

To include a cover page at the beginning of the financial statements, click the Display Cover Page checkbox. The cover page details the client name and the financial period.

Table of Contents

To include a table of contents in the financial statements, click the Display Table of Contents checkbox.

Page Number

To include page numbers in the financial statements, click the Display Page Numbers checkbox. The page numbers are displayed in the format: Page 1, Page 2 etc.

Account Codes

To include account codes in the financial statements, click the Display Account Codes checkbox. If selected the account codes are displayed to the left of the account description in the financial statements.

Rounded Balances

Click the Display Rounded Balances checkbox to round detail and header accounts to the nearest dollar. Sub-totals and totals throughout the reports are set to the sums of these rounded balances. This may result in rounding errors.

Image

To display an image such as a company logo on the financial statements, click the Display Image checkbox. Images are not included in Microsoft Word or Excel financial statements. The image file must be selected and the image properties configured.

Watermark

To display a watermark, such as Confidential, on the financial statements, click the Display Watermark checkbox. Watermarks are not included in Microsoft Word or Excel financial statements. The watermark must be selected and the watermark properties configured.

Column Header

To display one column header for the page(s) which contain multiple reports of the same type, click the Display one column header for the page checkbox. If the checkbox is selected then column headers, such as Year and $ in the notes section of the financial statement, are only displayed once for the whole page. This option is selected by default for the practice.

Click OK to save any changes. Click Cancel to close the window without saving changes.
