The text is truncated when previewing reports using Windows 10

This support note applies to:

  • AE Assets (AU)

When using MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) Assets with Windows 10, if you preview a report you may notice that some of the text contained in the report is truncated. This can occur if the default printer is set to "Microsoft print to PDF".

To resolve this issue, you will first need to exit MYOB Assets, then select a different default printer. The selection of printers that you can choose from and select as a default is available from within the Control Panel then selecting Devices and Printers

Once your default printer has been changed, the report can be re-run from Assets and will preview correctly.

MYOB testing was able to resolve the truncating through selecting the "Send to OneNote" printer.
