This support note provides a file (attached below) which contains the instructions to program your Posiflex scanner to read Barcodes printed from RetailBasics.

You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the file attached to this support note. If required, go to the Adobe website to download a free version.

 

To use the attached file
  1. Switch on your Posiflex scanner and ensure it is functioning.
  2. Right-click the attachment below (code128.pdf) and choose to save the file to your Desktop.
  3. Double-click the downloaded file to open it.
  4. Print the displayed document.
  5. Scan the barcodes on the printout, following the numeric order of the barcodes.
  6. When finished scanning all barcodes, test the barcodes printed from RetailBasics.
