  • RetailManager TLS update




MYOB takes the security of your data very seriously and for this reason we regularly update our solutions to use the latest security protocols.

We've updated our solutions that use TLS 1.0 (Transport Level Security) to now use TLS 1.1 or 1.2.


What does this mean for you? 

If you're using MYOB RetailManager v12.5 with AccountRight, you need to update to be able to post GL journals from MYOB RetailManager to MYOB AccountRight.


This update only applies to an existing RetailManager 12.5 installation for both the Australia and New Zealand versions


To install the update
  1. Right-click the following link and choose to save the file to your Desktop: RetailManager Update
  2. Double-click the MYOB_RetailManager_12_5_TLS_Update.msi on your desktop.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Choose the location of your RetailManager installation and click Next. By default this will be C:\RetailM.
  5. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
