The Tasks bar provides one–click navigation to main features. The contents of the Tasks bar change as you move to different areas of MYOB AO or depending on the type of return that is open. In Tax, the Tasks bar may be closed or opened by clicking View > Navigation bar. In the return, the options on the Tasks bar are grouped under the following headings: The Form Summary indicates the status of the return, for example, Completed, Not complete, Lodged, as well as the current taxable income for the return, which is updated as income and deductions are entered. INSERTIMAGE ATO ReturnUse the links under ATO Return on the Tasks bar to navigate around the page currently showing in the Tax Return data entry area. Each item which can be completed is listed under ATO Return on the Tasks bar. Those items listed will change as you navigate to different pages within the return. Click the item link under ATO Return on the Tasks bar to go to that item. The item which is currently selected is disabled and greyed out. An indicates information is entered into that item, that is, it is active. INSERTIMAGE ATO SchedulesSchedules for the current tax return are listed under the ATO Schedules heading on the Tasks bar. An indicates that multiple schedules of the same type may be attached to the return. Click to expand and view the list. When you attach a schedule, form or worksheet to a tax return an appears next to that item on the Tasks bar to indicate that an item of that type has been completed. INSERTIMAGE Click the schedule name under ATO Schedules to open and complete a schedule. To add a new schedule where multiple schedules of the same type can be attached, click the schedule name and then Add New. All ATO self-standing forms which can be lodged for the return type, for example, BAS, Client Update (CU Forms) are listed under ATO Forms heading on the Tasks bar. A indicates that multiple forms of the same type may be completed. Click to expand and view the list. A indicates that a form of that type has been completed. Click the form name under ATO Forms to open and complete a form. To add a new form where multiple form of the same type can be attached, click the form name and then Add New. WorksheetsWorksheets are listed under the Worksheets heading on the Tasks bar. A indicates that multiple worksheets of the same type may be completed. Click to expand and view the list. A indicates that a worksheet of that type has been completed. Click the worksheet under Worksheets to open and complete a worksheet.
