To add a new task code for timesheet/disbursement data entryPractice Manager only
- Select Maintenance > Maintenance Map from the menu.
- Click Miscellaneous on the Tasks bar.
- Click Code Types.
- The Code Types page opens.
- Click to
 Image Removed-
 Image Added expand the relevant Code Type (such as Time for Timesheets).
- The list of codes for the Code Type appears.
- Place the cursor in the new record row and complete the fields using the following screen image and table as a guide.

Code | Type a code up to 10 characters. | Short Name | Type a code up to 8 characters. The short name is used in reporting. | Description | Type a description up to 50 characters. Click OK to save the changes.
For disbursements, you may wish to add a Cost per Unit and a Charge per Unit, and you may also wish to add a default paragraph to a Code Type.To amend an existing Code Type Select the Code Type and press [Tab] until the cursor appears in the field you wish to amend. All task codes fields can be edited at any time. |
