Setting up

Master Paragraphs

attached to Task CodesMaster Paragraphs

can be used in the billing process by dragging and dropping in Stage 3 of the billing wizard. To improve the billing process, you can specify Master Paragraphs to be used as standard paragraphs for a Code Type so they are automatically added for you when you create a bill.

To set up master paragraphs attached to task codes

    1. Select Maintenance > Maintenance Map from the menu.

    2. Click Miscellaneous on the Tasks bar.

    3. Click Code Types.

    1. Click the Para button associated with the Task Code you wish to add standard paragraphs to.


      The
Code Master Paragraph
      opens for that task.

  1. Select the paragraph(s) you wish to appear on the bill when time is being billed.

  2. Select OK to save and close the Code Master Paragraph window.

  3. Click OK to save and close the Code Types page.

To display the paragraph text when creating a bill

  1. Select Group by Code in the drop-down list in Stage 3 of the billing wizard.


This will prefill your bill with the paragraph content as follows:
