Setting up job type templates

  1. Select Maintenance > Maintenance Map from the menu.
  2. Click Job Type on the Tasks bar.
  3. Click Job Type Templates.
  1. The Maintenance — Job Types page opens.
  2. Enter the name of the template in the Name As cell in the first blank row at the top of the table.
  3. Enter the code in the Code As cell in the first blank row at the top of the table.
  4. Select or deselect the checkboxes for the job types to be chargeable, external and/or included time.

    • For chargeable job types, tick Chargeable, External and Included Time.

    • For non chargeable job types, do not tick Chargeable or External. Tick Included Time if you want the time included in the employee’s standard hours.

    • If you want the job type classified as non chargeable/unavailable (for example, lost time), ensure all checkboxes are unticked. This will reduce the employee’s available hours for productivity reports.

  5. If you want to link Master Paragraphs to your job type template, click the Default Paragraph cell and then click the ellipse button.

  1. The Master Paragraphs window opens.

  2. Select the paragraph name from the list.

  1. The paragraph text displays in the Paragraph Text area.

  2. Click OK.

  1. The Master Paragraphs window closes and the selected paragraph is displayed in the Maintenance — Job Types page.

  2. Click OK. The template is saved and the page closes.
