Tax — Client Search page Australia only
Click Image Removed Image Added to access the Tax — Client Search page. On the Tax Client — Search page search for a selected return for a client. The Tax — Client Search page is divided into the following areas: Search Enter search criteria into the Search for text field. You can select to search by the client Name and Code, TFN or ABN. You can also search by the tax year. Select the relevant tax year on the Tax Year list: Image Removed Image Removed Click Search to perform the search. The search results which match your search criteria appear in the Search Results table. Double-click a return in the Search Results table to open and view the return in Tax, or click to select the return and click OK at the top of the Tax — Client Search page. | The Search Results table lists all those client returns which match the search criteria entered during the search. Double-click a return in the table to open and view the return in Tax. By default the Search Results table lists: S (Source) 2nd Column (No name) — The 2nd column displays information on the condition of the return. The following icons may appear in this column: Tick — indicating the return is complete Padlock — indicating the return is locked O — indicating the return is the original version of an amended return A —indicating that the return is the amended version of an amended return. Return Name — the name on the return. Click Return name to open the return in Tax. Client Code — code for the client which is used to uniquely identify the client. Click the Client code to open the Client page. TFN — the Tax File Number on the return. Form Type — the type of return. Status — the current status of the return. The return’s status can be: Not started In Progress Sent for signature Lodged. Date Due — the date the return is due to be lodged. This date is set in the Return Properties. Date Lodged — the date on which the return was transmitted to the ATO.
The Search Results table also has the following features: Search results status — the number of returns which match the search criteria is detailed at the top of the table in blue text. Field chooser — enables you to select the fields you want to display in the table. Right-click the table and select Field chooser from menu. To add a new column drag a field from the Field chooser list to the column heading row in the table. To remove a column drag the column heading from the table to the Field chooser list. Click

Column headings — The column headings allow you to sort the rows in the table alphabetically or numerically using the values in the selected column. Click the column heading once to sort in ascending order. Click the column heading again to sort in descending order. Sort bar — The Sort bar is the grey bar at the top of the window, it allows you to group the records in the table. Drag the column heading to the grey area above the list to group by that column. For example, if you drag the Status column heading to the Sort bar, the table shows the client records grouped by Status. Search filter — The first row of the table allows you to filter the information in the table. Enter a specific value into the cell to filter and press [Enter]. Click

| The Tasks bar is always displayed in the left of the MYOB AO window. It provides one–click navigation to useful options that are relevant to the currently open page. It changes as you move to different pages or windows.
