MYOB AO Classic Clients > Relationships tab

All relationships in MYOB AO are defined using relationship types defined on the Client page > Associated tab.

Relationships tab for Individuals

AO Classic field	MYOB AO relationship type
Spouses Details	“is spouse of”

The following table outlines when Spouse details in MYOB AO Classic are updated from MYOB AO.

MYOB AO change	Change made in MYOB AO Classic
Define a new relationship for “is spouse of”.	Spouse Details updated to include the relationship.
Change the Start Date.	No change
Enter an End Date.	Spouse Details updated to remove the relationship.
Clear the End Date.	Spouse Details updated to include the relationship.
Delete a “is spouse of” relationship.	Spouse Details updated to remove the relationship

When MYOB AO is integrated with MYOB AO Classic, a client can only have one “is spouse of” relationship defined.

The following table outlines when Partners Details in MYOB AO Classic are updated from MYOB AO.

Functionality on the Relationships tab for Partnerships in MYOB AO Classic will change in the following ways when integrated with MYOB AO:
