In Australia, if you have converted from MYOB AO Classic then your Job Statuses were converted to steps during the installation of MYOB AO. You do not have to set them up before you start using them. This section only applies if you have not converted data from MYOB AO Classic, or if you were not using Job Statuses in MYOB AO Classic and you want to use them.

Milestones are maintained using Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Job Type > Milestones.

The standard milestones are shown below.

There is only one set of milestones for your practice — and the list of milestones is applicable to all jobs. If a milestone is not applicable to a certain job, the milestone still needs to be completed; otherwise your reporting will be inconsistent.

You will need to exit MYOB AO and come back in again before the changes will be visible on the Job Manager page.

To use reporting on milestones, a start milestone and an end milestone must be flagged for each job. A job is started when the status of the start milestone is set to Complete. A job has ended when the status of the end milestone is set to Complete. When the status of the end milestone is set to Complete, the job will no longer be displayed on the Job Manager page.
