ANSWER ID:36134BankLink Notes If the client is using Microsoft Outlook 1.Make sure Outlook has been set as default email program under Control Panel 2.In BankLink Notesemails from BankLink Notes don't automatically send then the client will need to configure the email settings. To do this, click Send to Accountant 3.Click Settings 4.Select Use Microsoft Outlook 5.Click OK If the client is using internet mail 1.Select Use this Application 2.Enter Name and Email address 3.It asks for the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) to which they will enter their internet service providers SMTP details 4.The port number is generally 25 but you can also find this information online or by phoning your internet service provider if you are unsure 5.The last section asks for Authentication. Most of the time this is not needed so try it first without authentication ticked. However, some Internet service providers require this therefore you may need to enter your Internet account name and password. Free Internet based emails such as Gmail, Hotmail and outlook.com may not integrate with BankLink Notes. Clients can try contact the email provider and get the SMTP and port number information and follow the steps above. If this does not work, the user needs to save the Notes file on the computer under File > Save As in BankLink Notes and email it to the accountant as an attachment using internet mail.
