- Ensure the Data folder is copied into C:\MYOBAO on the new machine. If this directory does not exist, you must create it first. The folder is copied.
- Install the relevant versions of Accountants Office as below depending on your scenario. If you are unsure, you should only see the relevant downloads available on the Download and install version 17.0.3 full installer Image Added from my.myob.com.au, Product Downloads page, Australia. The relevant applications are installed
- Install all the subsequent updates after that.
- Open Accountants Office and ensure all data and functionality has been restored.
For clients that moved to MYOB AO in 2010-2011 - Install the AO Classic 13.0.0 DVD.
- Download and install AO Classic 13.0.1.
- Download and install AO Classic 13.5.1.
For clients that moved to MYOB AO in 2012 - Download and install AO Classic 14.0.2 Full install.
- Download and install AO Classic 14.5.1.
- Download and install AO Classic 15.0.1.
For clients that moved to MYOB AO in 2013 or clients with AO Classic only that do not have the AO Classic 15.0.0 DVD Then perform the following updates listed below. For clients that moved to MYOB AO 2013 or clients with AO Classic only that do have the AO Classic 15.0.0 DVD Install the AO Classic 15.0.0 DVD first, then install: - Download and install AO Classic 15.0.1.
- Download and install AO Classic 15.0.2.
- Download and install AO Classic 15.0.3.
- Download and install AO Classic 15.5.1.
Then perform the following updates listed below if you are using AO Classic only. For clients with AO Classic only that have done the above - Download and install AO Classic 16.0.0.
- Download and install AO Classic 16.0.1.
- Download and install AO Classic 16.0.1a.
- Download and install AO Classic 16.5.1.
- Download and install AO Classic 17.0.0.
