Turn a document into a transactionThe really clever part of In Tray tray is that once you've uploaded a document, you can use the smarts in MYOBto do some of the data entry for you. Select Click the ellipsis button for the document you just uploaded then click and choose one of these options: Image RemovedImage Added Link to existing bill | Attach the document to an existing supplier purchasea bill you've already recorded in MYOB. | Create bill | Record a purchase you make from your suppliers for business suppliesnew bill from one of your suppliers based on the uploaded document. | Create spend money transaction | Enter money you spend for a purchase that's not a payment to a supplier for a bill. You might use a spend money to pay your telephone bills, bank charges or charity donations. |
Record a new spend money transaction based on the uploaded document, e.g. for goods or services that are not from one of your regular suppliers, such as a telephone bill, bank charge or charity donation. |
When using an uploaded document to create a new transaction, MYOBscans what's in the document to help you complete the transactionand pre-fills as many details as possible, saving you some keystrokes. For example, click Create bill. MYOBcreates a bill and automatically fills it in with information from the document.
