To remove all installed MYOB ODBC Data Source names (DSNs):

  1. Click the Windows Start button and choose Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Administrative Tools.
  3. Double-click Data Sources (ODBC).
  4. Click the User DSN tab.
  5. Identify any MYOB ODBC DSNs - these can be identified in the Driver column as being an MYOB ODBC drivers.
  6. If found, click the MYOB ODBC DSN then click Remove.
  7. Click the System DSN tab.
  8. Identify any MYOB ODBC DSNs - these can be identified in the Driver column as being an MYOB ODBC drivers.
  9. If found, click the MYOB ODBC DSN then click Remove.
  10. Click OK to the ODBC Data Source Administrator window.

To uninstall (remove) the MYOB ODBC Driver:

  1. Click the Windows Start button then click Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Programs and Features. For Windows XP users select Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Select MYOB ODBC Direct.
  4. Click the Uninstall button. For Windows XP users select Change/Remove
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall MYOB ODBC Direct.

To install the MYOB ODBC Driver:

  1. Click the Windows Start button, choose Programs (or All Programs), then choose your MYOB software, for example AccountRight Premier v19.
  2. Choose MYOB Tools and then click Install MYOB ODBC Direct. The installation process begins.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to install the ODBC driver.

 

Note: Older versions of some third-party applications may not be compatible with the new ODBC driver. Contact your solution provider to ask if the version of MYOB ODBC Direct you just installed is compatible with that solution.
