When using RetailBasics you might encounter an error similar to this example:
To fix this error
You'll need to replace the corrupted Printers files.
To replace these files, you will need to re-name the existing Printers files, then replace them with the ones attached to the bottom of this page.
To do this:
Close RetailBasics.
Right-click the Windows Start button and choose Explore.
Browse to the RetailBasics folder on your computer. By default this is C:RetailBasics.
Double-click this folder to view its contents, then double-click the Data folder.
Within the data folder, locate the files Printers.dbf, Printers.cdx and Printers.fpt and rename these to PrintersOLD.dbf, PrintersOLD.cdx and PrintersOLD.fpt respectively. To do this, right-click the file and choose Rename, then rename them accordingly.
From the attachments at the bottom of this support note, click the first file, for example Printers.CDX, and save this file in the C:RetailBasicsData folder.
Repeat step 6 for the other two files attached to the bottom of this support note, in other words Printers.DBF and Printers.FPT.
