Cannot import from MYOB Advanced Payroll due to missing probation
The field "Probation Period" is in MYOB Advanced Workforce Management but not in Payroll until an upcoming release.
In the exported file from MYOB Advanced Payroll
Add a field called "recordProbationPeriod"
Set this field to "FALSE"
Save the file and import into MYOB Workforce Management

Issues when signing into MYOB Workforce Management
When signing into MYOB Workforce Management, you may encounter one of the following:
be stuck at the "Signing in" stage
the page loads but is in grey colour
error "Hmm... Something went wrong" error message
Make sure all custom permission groups have minimum access of "View Own Employee Profile". Clear web browser's cache and cookies.

(NZ only) Alternative holiday based solely on standard hours
If an employee does not have standard hours for either Sunday or Tuesday, or they work differently from their scheduled standard hours, their alternative public holiday may incorrectly calculate as being on Sunday. This can affect payroll amounts if an employee picks up a shift on Sunday or Tuesday.

New employee cannot onboard with invitation link due to an error
If a new employee clicked the invitation link and did not complete the onboarding, when they resume later they may get an error "The invitation for this employee has already been accepted".
Ask the onboarding employee to log in directly at https://advancedteam.myob.com/ or click on the Onboarding tab on the top right to complete the remaining onboarding steps.

Roster screen is not updating
Any saved changes made to the Roster screen is not updated to show.
Clear cookies, especially cookies for advancedteam.myob.com, then perform a hard refresh by holding down Ctrl and the web browser's refresh button or the F5 key.

After ticking the "view basic employees information" tickbox in a custom permission group, users with that custom permission group may not see list of employees.

Error when saving a shift over the change of daylight saving time
When you create an overnight shift over the change of daylight saving time, you may get an error "End time must be after start time".

Partner and Administrator users cannot see Security settings
Partner and Administrator users have no access to Security tab in Company Settings.
Contact MYOB Support to change MFA settings for any permission groups.
Roster screen showing "Inaccessible" against some employees
When viewing the Roster screen some shifts may show as being assigned to "Inaccessible" if the employee they are assigned to is not part of the location you are currently viewing. Any employee that doesn't show in the "Employee" list won't be visible on the Roster screen.
Either view the roster from a higher level,
Or; add the employee explicitly to the location.

Onboarding employee gets error at the submission stage
At the Final Declaration stage in onboarding, a new employee who has their location access changed by an administrator may get error after clicking the Submit button.
Error: Could not complete onboarding
Administrator to change the location access back to original value.

Cannot see inactive employees to restore
After deleting an employee, cannot see that employee in the Restore Employee screen and cannot restore them.

Non-payrolled employees cannot be reporting to managers
After an employee has been onboarded as non-payrolled employee, they cannot be selected as a "reporting to" manager.
After onboarding, manual reporting line adjustment is required.

Timesheet filters with a Pay Run Template not showing results
After selecting a Pay Run Template in Timesheet Filters, timesheets of employees with that Pay Run Template may not appear in the results.
Do not select any Pay Run Template in Timesheet Filters.

Error when editing in the Employees screen
When editing employee details, you may encounter an error "Please correct the following errors" asking to fill in all required fields even though those fields are already filled out.
In any of the highlighted fields, select a different option and back, then save to refresh the page.

Error when importing timesheets
After importing timesheets from MYOB Advanced Workforce Management to MYOB Advanced Payroll, you may get the error below indicating the pay item details are missing.
Error: Missing data map(s). Please review Data Maps effective date fields.
Export the timesheet back to Excel, keep the pay item IDs but remove the pay item descriptions, save this Excel file then upload the updated Excel timesheet.

Error when sending onboarding invitations.
When using the new onboarding workflows, users who do not have "Administrator" or "Manager with Payroll" permission get the error message "Invalid or inaccessible position ID", when they try to send an invitation.
This happens even if their permissions are set up correctly.
Either ask a user with "Administrator" or "Manager with Payroll" permission to send the invitation for you, or revert to legacy onboarding.
