When signing into MYOB Workforce Management, you may encounter one of the following:

  • be stuck at the "Signing in" stage
  • the page loads but is in grey colour
  • error "Hmm... Something went wrong" error message

12/12/2022(NZ only) Alternative holiday based solely on standard hoursIf an employee does not have standard hours for either Sunday or Tuesday, or they work differently from their scheduled standard hours, their alternative public holiday may incorrectly calculate as being on Sunday. This can affect payroll amounts if an employee picks up a shift on Sunday or Tuesday. No workaround.Under investigationNot available
11/11/2022New employee cannot onboard with invitation link due to an error

If a new employee clicked the invitation link and did not complete the onboarding, when they resume later they may get an error "The invitation for this employee has already been accepted".

Ask the onboarding employee to log in directly at https://advancedteam.myob.com/ or click on the Onboarding tab on the top right to complete the remaining onboarding steps.

After ticking the "view basic employees information" tickbox in a custom permission group, users with that custom permission group may not see list of employees.

Assign the inbuilt Manager permission group to the required users.

The "Basic Employees information" option only shows employee names in dropdown lists. To be able to view employee profiles you need the "View Full Employee Information" privilege.

In the exported file from MYOB Advanced Payroll

  2. Set this field to "FALSE"
  3. Save the file and import into MYOB Workforce Management

22/05/2023Roster screen showing "Inaccessible" against some employeesWhen viewing the Roster screen some shifts may show as being assigned to "Inaccessible" if the employee they are assigned to is not part of the location you are currently viewing. Any employee that doesn't show in the "Employee" list won't be visible on the Roster screen.

Either view the roster from a higher level,

Or; add the employee explicitly to the location.

At the Final Declaration stage in onboarding, a new employee who has their location access changed by an administrator may get error after clicking the Submit button.

7/11/2022Error when editing in the Employees screen

When editing employee details, you may encounter an error "Please correct the following errors" asking to fill in all required fields even though those fields are already filled out.

In any of the highlighted fields, select a different option and back, then save to refresh the page.Resolved in version 9.4NA
25/10/2022Error when importing timesheets

After importing timesheets from MYOB Advanced Workforce Management to MYOB Advanced Payroll, you may get the error below indicating the pay item details are missing.

Error: Missing data map(s). Please review Data Maps effective date fields.

Export the timesheet back to Excel, keep the pay item IDs but remove the pay item descriptions, save this Excel file then upload the updated Excel timesheet.Resolved in version 9.3.1 CE00032015
 25/08/2022Error when sending onboarding invitations.

When using the new onboarding workflows, users who do not have "Administrator" or "Manager with Payroll" permission get the error message "Invalid or inaccessible position ID", when they try to send an invitation.

This happens even if their permissions are set up correctly.

Either ask a user with "Administrator" or "Manager with Payroll" permission to send the invitation for you, or revert to legacy onboarding.Resolved in version 9.2CE00028957
