This support note describes how to replace a corrupted ExcludeZip.dbf file in RetailBasics v2. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact our Technical Support team.

To replace this file, you will need to re-name the existing ExcludeZip.dbf file, then replace it with the file attached to the bottom of this support note.

To do this:

  1. Close RetailBasics.
  2. Right-click the Windows Start button and choose Explore.
  3. Browse to the RetailBasics folder on your computer. By default this is C:RetailBasics.
  4. Double-click this folder to view its contents, then double-click the Data folder.
  5. Within the data folder, locate the file ExcludeZip.dbf and rename it to ExcludeZipOLD.dbf. To do this, right-click the file and choose Rename, then rename it accordingly.
  6. From the attachments at the bottom of this support note, click the file ExcludeZip.dbf and save this file in the C:RetailBasicsData folder.
  7. Start RetailBasics.
