  • Error: "gl_clist does not exist" when printing reports

ANSWER ID:4501

To fix this error, you'll need to delete all files beginning with "gl_clist", then re-name the "glrreports.app" file.

Let's take you through the details

1. Delete gl_clist files
  1. Close Cashbook.
  2. Simultaneously press the Windows Image and E keys on your keyboard (the Windows Image key is between the Ctrl and Alt keys). The File Explorer window appears.
  3. Browse to C:\Users\Public\Data\MYOB\Cashbook.
  4. Delete any files beginning with "gl_clist".
  5. Open Cashbook and try to print your report.
  6. If this has not fixed the issue, continue to the next task below.
2. Re-name glrreports.app file

Renaming this file will cause Cashbook to default back to an older style layout which, while having a different aesthetic, still contains exactly the same information.

Don't perform this task if using Cashbook v8

Instead, complete the tasks in Error: "Buffer overrun".

  1. Close Cashbook.
  2. Simultaneously press the Windows Image and E keys on your keyboard (the Windows Image key is between the Ctrl and Alt keys). The File Explorer window appears.
  3. Browse to C:\Program Files\MYOB\Cashbook.
  4. Rename the file called glrreports.app to oldglrreports.app
  5. Open Cashbook.

You'll now be able to view reports.
