The following error may appear when attempting to email pay slips:

This error is caused by Payroll not installing correctly. So first, uninstall and reinstall Payroll as described in Uninstalling and reinstalling. When reinstalling, make sure any antivirus and firewall software is temporarily disabled.

If error persists
  1. Close Payroll
  2. Right-click the Payroll icon and choose Properties. (The Payroll icon is the shortcut you click to start Payroll)
  3. Click the Compatibility tab.
  4. Select the option Run this program as an administrator.

  5. Click OK.
  6. Open Payroll and confirm that the error is resolved.
