Error message “Error Refreshing Chart. ReadChartFromS6BNK_DLL failed: XML parse error: End tag xml does not match the start tag chart” when attempting to refresh a chart of accounts from MYOB Accountants Enterprise MAS.
This error results when account codes exist without an account description. The s6bnk.dll utility (part of the Refresh Chart function) doesn’t handle accounts without a description.
Edit the chart in MYOB Accountants Enterprise MAS and add account description where necessary. Then open BankLink Practice and select Other Functions > Refresh Chart. The error message will no longer appear when all account codes have descriptions.
