Technical support is no longer provided for FirstAccounts, and the information below may be outdated. For more information on technical support for older MYOB products, including the benefits of upgrading to a supported product, see the MYOB Sunset Support page.

For moving older company files between Mac or PC, see Moving older company files between Windows and Mac.

The Platform Exchange Utility (MY1A Exchange) and instructions on using it can be downloaded from the bottom of this page. This utility converts a FirstAccounts version 3.5 data file from Windows to Macintosh operating systems versions and vice-versa.

Please note:

  • The Platform Exchange utility is supplied on a goodwill basis and as such, we DO NOT provide technical support for it, or for the conversion process.
  • The Platform Exchange utility can be used on a Macintosh only and cannot be run on a PC, so the data file conversion needs to be done on the Mac computer.

The instructions document is written in a PDF format, which requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to open or print it. If you don't have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, a copy of it is available on your software CD. Alternatively, you can download a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader from the Adobe website.
