You can choose to accept online credit card payments from your customers. Currently Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards can be used.
Your customers will be prompted to enter their credit card details when they click the Pay Now button on their online invoice. Once their payment has been processed, they'll receive a receipt of payment via email, and you'll receive an email confirming the payment.
After the email notification, we'll distribute your payment to your bank for settlement. Your money will be deposited into your account in 1-3 days, depending on your bank's policy.
Transaction fees
The following fee will be charged to you for each transaction that your customers pay by credit card. The fee is deducted from your nominated account each month:
$0.25 per transaction + 2.2% of the invoice value
FAQs
Even if you already have a merchant account for your business, you'll need to complete the PayDirect Online sign-up process if you want to accept online credit card payments.
There's currently no automated option to include surcharges on invoices paid using PayDirect Online.
