Editing an added account

Only the Account Name of an added account can be edited. Added accounts are displayed in italics in the Prepare Trial Balance (Workpapers) table.

This functionality applies to all products except for AE/AO Ledger.

To edit an added account

  1. Open the workpapers period.


  2. See Opening an existing period.
    The Prepare Trial Balance (Workpapers) table is displayed.
  3. Select the account in the table.


  4. or
    Click the checkbox in the first column of the selected account.
  5. Click Edit account on the Tasks bar.


  6. The Edit Account window opens.

    The Account Name field is the only field that can be edited. All other fields are disabled.

  7. Edit the Account Name as required.

  8. Click OK.
