The Pencil comment tool is used to “draw” irregular lines and shapes in the document with explanatory text.

To change the fill and line colours, opacity and other appearance values, right-click the object and select Properties. Make your changes in the Appearance tab and click Close to save your changes.

To add a pencil comment
  1. Select a document in the Source Documents tab.
  2. Click the Document Mark Up tab. The document will open in the Document Mark Up tab.
  3. Scroll through the document to where you want to add the image and click
  4. Click and drag in the document to draw with the pencil.
  5. Double-click in the document to deselect the pencil option when you have finished drawing the shape you require. The pencil drawing appears in the document.
  6. Double-click the pencil line to open the text area and enter text to your pencil comment.
  7. Click outside the pencil area when finished.
  8. Click Save.
