The system toolbar provides access to frequently used menu options. Tool tips are provided. You can configure the toolbar for your own requirements. All users are able to add and remove toolbar access to menu commands and, if you have the necessary security level, you are able to add internal and external commands.
You can customise the toolbar by accessing the Configure Toolbar window. This window allows you to add or remove icons and to rearrange them on the toolbar.
Update: Updates the current configuration. For example, you can change an existing toolbar icon. To do this, click on an item in the Toolbar Button list and then click on the new button required from the Button list. After each icon change, click Update to commit the change.
Move Up: Moves the selected toolbar option up one position in the Toolbar buttons list. The selected icon moves one position to the left in the current toolbar configuration. For example, highlight the toolbar icon from the Toolbar buttons list and click Move Up.
Move Down: Moves the selected toolbar option down one position in the Toolbar buttons list. The selected icon moves one position to the right in the current toolbar configuration. For example, highlight the toolbar icon from the Toolbar buttons list and click Move Down.
Define: Allows authorised users to define a new command for the command list. This may invoke an application command or create a link to an external application (such as MS Word). You select the <command> option from the Command list and then click Define.
Command: Provides a drop down list of available commands.
Click Update to display the new icon on the toolbar.
