We use both holding dialogs and specialised worksheets at return labels where the amount is made up of amounts entered elsewhere in the return or any of its worksheets.

Holding dialogs are visual only. They can't be printed

Some holding dialogs contain free data entry fields. For example in the company and the fund returns:

H8: Credit for foreign resident capital gains withholding.

C2: Rebates and tax offsets (funds only)

The Calculation Statement in the company return has several holding dialogs as well as specialised worksheets that perform this function.

H2: Credit for tax withheld foreign resident withholding (excluding capital gains)
H4: Tax Withheld from interest/investments (TFN)
H5: TFN withheld from closely held trusts
H7: Other credits
H8: Credit for foreign resident capital gains withholding

H3: Credit for tax withheld ABN/TFN not quoted
H5: Credit for TFN amounts withheld from payments from closely held trusts
H8: Credit for foreign resident capital gains withholding
