Defining watermark settings

The Display Watermark option enables you to include watermarked text, such Draft or Confidential, in the financial statements.

To define the watermark settings

  1. Access the practice or client’s report options.


  2. See Accessing report options.
    The Report Options window opens.
  3. Click the Display Watermark checkbox.


  4. This is located within the Display Options on the Report Options window.
  5. Click Define Watermark Settings.


  6. The Define Watermark Settings window opens.
  7. Select the text to be displayed as a watermark on Watermark Text drop-down.


  8. The pre-defined options are - DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL or DO NOT COPY - or click and enter custom text in the Watermark Text field.
  9. Select the font properties for the watermark in the Font section.

  10. Select the position of the watermark on the page.


  11. This is done on the Direction drop-down in the Position section.
  12. In the Page Range section, select how often the watermarked text will be displayed in the financial statements. The watermarked text can be displayed on:

    • All Pages

    • First Page Only

    • Pages.

  13. If configuring the report options for a selected client, click Restore Practice Defaults to remove any custom watermark text settings for the client.


  14. The watermark text settings will be restored to the watermark text settings configured for the practice.
  15. Click OK to save any changes.


  16. or
    Click Cancel to close the window without saving changes.
  17. Click OK.


To save the Report Options and close the Report Options window.
