What is Single Touch Payroll? 

Single Touch Payroll is an ATO requirement which will change the way you report payroll payments, including:

  • salaries and wages
  • pay as you go (PAYG) withholding
  • superannuation information

It simplifies your ATO reporting because you can do it directly from your payroll software at the same time as you pay your employees. 

This means you can meet your ATO reporting obligations at the same time you pay your employees, instead of running a separate process.

What do I need to do?

A new AccountEdge version is available (v18) which guides you through the setup for Single Touch Payroll reporting.

If you have a current subscription, you can download AccountEdge Pro or Network Edition (v18), and the associate release notes, from my.myob.com.au (once logged in, go to the My Products menu > Downloads).
