As part of Inland Revenue’s Business Transformation programme, IR is upgrading their systems to securely identify users connecting via third-party software. This is planned maintenance on 18 October 2020.

What do I need to do?

After the upgrade, IR requires you to renew your myIR credentials from within MYOB. You'll need to do this if you're downloading IR transactions, income tax, tax credits, student loans, and working for families data from Transactions data services (TDS).

 

Renew myIR credentails in AE/AO
  1. In MYOB AE/AO, go to Maintenance > Maintenance map > Tax > Maintain Agencies.
  2. Select the Agency you want to renew.
  3. On the Tasks panel, select Delete myIR credentials for agency. The following message appears.
  4. Select Yes. The following message appears.
  5. Click OK.
  6. On the Tasks panel, select Request client list from IRD. The following message appears.
  7. Select Yes. The following message appears.
  8. Click OK. Your internet browser opens the myIR login page.
  9. Log in to myIR using credentials with admin access. An IR Consent Management page message appears.


  10. Read the message and click Authorize. This gives consent to MYOB to download your IR data. The All done! message appears.

  11. Close the browser and go back to Maintain Agencies in AE/AO.

  12. On the Tasks panel, select Request client list from IRD. The following message appears.

  13. Click Yes. The following message appears.
  14. Click OK.
