Tax returns
  • Bulk filing improvements
On 8 June, we released the ability to file returns in bulk. This was particularly useful if you use the portal in MYOB Practice, as tax returns would automatically move into a Ready to file status, meaning they'd be ready to bulk file.

Now, we're working on an update that lets you more easily move tax returns into a Ready to file status even if you don't use the portal in MYOB Practice. This will let all users make the most of bulk filing.

MYOB Practice will automatically create tax notices for your clients 3 months before they're due. If you prefer, you'll also be able to initiate the creation of an individual client's tax notices for the entire tax year.

This means tax notices will always be there ready for you when you need them.

  • Improved tax notice updates when settings change
If your client has a change of balance month, GST taxable period, or extension, the future tax notices will be automatically updated to the new due dates.
