MYOB Adapt simplifies migrations to MYOB Advanced from desktop payroll and ERP solutions

Payroll and ERP migrations

You can use MYOB Adapt for migrations to both MYOB Advanced Payroll and MYOB Advanced Business.

The desktop products you can migrate from are:

  • MYOB Exo Employer Services
  • MYOB Exo Business.

We'll add more desktop product options in the future.

With MYOB Adapt, you can:

  • Review and edit data in bulk.
  • Quickly compare your edited data with how it originally looked.
  • Highlight any duplicated data.
Automatically extract data

You no longer need to manually prepare templates or datasheets, MYOB Adapt exports data for you automatically.

Securely store customer data

MYOB Adapt is a server-based tool, which keeps your customers' data more secure than it would be during a manual migration.

Plus, you'll only be able to access migrations that you've been permitted to work on.


To migrate with MYOB Adapt

Before getting started
  • To be able to use MYOB Adapt, you need to have Windows 10 or later as your operating system.
  • As a one-off setup task, you need to raise a case in Phoenix and request a login for the MYOB Adapt online portal.

 

There are three components to MYOB Adapt that you'll use for different parts of a migration: the Adapt online portal, Adapt Uploader and Adapt Desktop.

Create a migration in the Adapt online portal.

The Adapt online portal is where you configure and manage your customers, migrations and users.

After importing customer data to the online portal, use Adapt Desktop to review and edit data, then upload it to MYOB Advanced.

Once you've finished a migration, delete it from the online portal.
