Error on new remuneration packages

Issue

When entering new Remuneration Packages on Employees, you may be receiving the error below.

exception class : EAssertionFailed
exception message : Attempting to read Record ID from a kPGTable with either an empty cache, or in INSERT state. (C:\Agent\workspace\PAYG-REL\PayGlobal\PayGlobal Delphi\Source\Hr\Framework\kPgTable.pas, line 7076)

Workaround

  1. Go to the employee’s Remuneration tab and press Edit.

  2. Right click on screen and select Add Record.

  3. Add the Start Date and leave “Is current package” as NO.
  4. Save the record.

  5. Edit the record again, change “is current package” to YES and add all of the package details you want to add.

  6. Then press Save and close.

Error in Send and Receive

Issue

Users receiving the error below when using the Send and Receive functionality.
exception class : Unknown
exception message : Unknown.

Workaround

Delete all reports from your Outbox in PayGlobal and run them again.One by one and send and receive after each one.Logged as: PGDEV-6515
Cannot save report as Excel

Issue

Under Save as new Message on reports that have been run, the option to save as Excel is missing from all areas.

Workarounds

Option 1: Select a different Format. For example, CSVFile. You can then open this in excel.

Option 2: If running a PayGlobal report, setup the report to go to Excel before you run the report in “Edit Destination/Format".
See below:

  1. Right click on the report and select Edit Destination/Format.
  2. Tick Email Options or File Options and select the Format as Excel.
  3. Complete all the fields and press OK to save. Then run the report and Send/Receive.
