Ace Payroll needs to be updated at least once a year to comply with changes to tax. You will be contacted by mail or email in March to remind you to upgrade. If you have not upgraded by March 31st each year, Ace Payroll will remind you to upgrade.

You are able to download versions of Ace Payroll as they are released if you are on a support plan. A detailed list of changes is available in the Ace Payroll version history.

The best time to install an upgrade is right after you file your regular payroll. That way, on the off chance that something goes wrong, you have at least a week to correct it.

To download an update

From the front screen, click Utilities > Ace Payroll Online > Download An Upgrade.
Tick I Agree With These Terms, then follow the instructions.
