MYOB Assets Live is a desktop application that stores and accesses data in the cloud. It is included as a module of MYOB Client Accounting. An internet connection is required to use MYOB Assets Live. It can be used in non-integrated or integrated mode with a general ledger.
The beta version of MYOB Assets Live enables you to manage an asset register for taxation purposes only.
The key functions of the beta version of MYOB Assets Live are:
multi-year support
add and edit assets
list all assets that are held or sold for a client
group assets into categories
calculate depreciation for taxation purposes
include private use percentages
calculate the profit / loss / capital gains on the sale of an asset
generates Tax schedule and Journal summary reports, and a low value and small business pool schedule
calculates depreciation for assets in a low value or small business pool
can only be used with clients (not contacts or suppliers) that are either open or closed.
Only one asset register can be created for a client.
