To email from AccountRight v19.6 and later, you need to have Microsoft Outlook (32-bit) installed. For older AccountRight versions, you'll need Microsoft Outlook 2000-2007.
AccountRight v19 and Outlook 2016
An update is available (v19.11.2 Australia only) which provides compatibility with Outlook 2016 (32-bit). To check for updates, go to the Help menu and choose Updates and then Check for Updates.
If you don't use Microsoft Outlook, you can save your document as a PDF (Send To > Disk) then attach it to an email in your preferred email software.
If there's more than one email program on your computer, you need to set Outlook as the default. Similarly, if you have more than one email address set up in Outlook, you'll need to set which one is the default.
AccountRight relies on Microsoft Outlook being installed on your computer, and for it to be set as the default email program.
Simple MAPI apps such as the Mail app included with Windows 8 and 10, as well as 3rd party programs like Thunderbird and Windows Live Mail are not supported. Web based mail services such as Yahoo, Gmail and Hotmail are not compatible.
