To finish setting up the employee you need:

  • To set up an employee password

  • To enter budgets for the employee (Practice Manager)

  • To confirm that a cost rate has been set (Practice Manager)

How to set up an employee password
  1. Access the Main tab on the Employee page.
  2. Click Change password on the Tasks bar. The Change Employee Password window opens.
  3. Enter the new password.
  4. Enter the password again to confirm that you typed it correctly.
  5. Click OK.
How to enter budgets for the employee (Practice Manager)
  1. Access the Budget tab on the Employee page.

  2. Enter the Standard Hours to be worked in each month.

  3. Enter the expected Chargeable Hours for the month.

  4. The Standard Amount and Chargeable Amount fields fill automatically.

  5. Click OK.

How to confirm that a cost rate has been set (Practice Manager)
  1. Access the Main tab on the Employee page.

  2. Enter a cost rate in the Cost/Hr field if one is required by the practice.

    Cost rates will only be reflected in timesheets for timesheet entries entered after the cost rate has been set. The system will not go back and update any old records.
