If you migrated your data from MYOB AO Classic, certain client information entered in MYOB AO needs to be available for preparing tax returns using MYOB AO Classic Tax. If MYOB AO is integrated with MYOB AO Classic, this data is updated in your MYOB AO Classic database when it is changed in MYOB AO. Refer to What data is updated in MYOB AO Classic when I change it in MYOB AO? for a list of relevant data.

You can configure your AO Classic integration settings using the Maintenance Map. By default, when you install MYOB AO as an upgrade from MYOB AO Classic, integration is turned on and linked to the AO Classic database you converted during installation.

How to view your AO Classic settings
  1. Select Maintenance > Maintenance Map. The Maintenance Map window opens.

  2. Select AO Classic Settings from the Tasks bar. The AO Classic Settings window opens displaying your current:

  • MYOB AO database details, and

  • AO Classic integration details.

How to change your AO Classic integration settings
  1. View your AO Classic Settings.

  2. Select Edit AO Classic settings from the Tasks bar. The Edit AO Classic details window opens.
