The Reports tab lets you create statutory reports directly from your client's data files using Statutory Reporter.

Statutory Reporter reads financial data directly from the AccountRight range of products. This means that there is no need to re-key data into a separate general ledger.

The default report content for your Practice is configured using the Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Client Accounting > Practice Report Settings. Press [F1] on the Practice Report Settings page to gain full help configuring the settings.

From the Reports tab you can:

  • Configure the client’s financial statement — the default report content is displayed on the Reports tab. You can configure the report on a client basis by:

    • Selecting the reports that will be included in the financial statement for this client — tick the checkbox to include a report.

    • Changing the order that the reports are included in the financial statements — select the report you want to move and use the green arrows to move the report up or down in the list.

    • Select the Period for the financial report.

  • Preview Reports — prepares the financial report for the client and opens it in a new window so you can preview it. You must preview the financial statement before it can be printed, exported or emailed.

  • Display only reports where client has related data — filters the list of reports so that the only reports included on the list are ones that actually have related data.

  • Reset Reports — remove any customisation that has been applied to the report selection and to the report order. The configuration returns to the practice level defaults.

  • Edit Account Groups — this allows you to edit the account group allocations for this client. Statutory Reporter uses Account Groups to determine which account balances to display in each section of the financial statements and which notes to include by default.

  • Edit Non-Transaction Data  allows you to edit the client’s non transaction data fields.

  • Edit Paragraphs  allows you to modify the content and format of the default paragraphs displayed in the financial reports.

  • Edit Report Options allows you to configure custom report options for the client.

Full details on configuring and using Statutory Reporter can be found in the Statutory Reporter section of the Online Help.
