The toolbar, which is situated at the top of the window below the main menu, consists of a row of buttons which you use to access the main parts of the MYOB AO.
The following standard toolbar buttons are available. The available buttons change depending on which applications you purchased.

| Open your Home page, which is your default view. This is the Find Clients page unless you change it in your display options using View > Display Options. |
| List your clients on the Find Clients page where you can search for and open a client to see their details. You can search by client name, code, IRD (New Zealand), TFN/ABN (Australia). In addition you can group and filter your list and perform common client tasks. Click the grey arrow at the bottom of the button to open a menu of items that allow you to:

| Open your current timesheet on the Timesheet Entry page where you can record the time spent on your jobs. Calendar and date navigation tools on this page allow you to navigate to your prior timesheets. Click the grey arrow at the bottom of the button to open a menu of items that allow you to:

| Lists your draft bills on the Draft Bills page where you can search for and open a draft bill to see the details. You can search by draft number or date, filter the list for all or specific companies and you can group and sort the bills. | View the Debtors Ledger with no client selected. Click the grey arrow at the bottom of the button to open a menu of items that allow you to:

| Open a list of Jobs to help you maintain and manage jobs and deadlines. Jobs are managed using a deadline management tool which allows users to track the progress of jobs using specified milestones. Jobs are only available if you purchased Practice Manager.

| The Tax icon is only available if you have purchased and registered the Tax module. Australian Tax List the current year tax returns on the Tax Client - Search grid.
