BankLink Online

BankLink Online can be installed as a Silverlight Application onto a computer's desktop. Please see the instructions below detailing how this can be done for your Windows version.

Installing BankLink Online onto a desktop provides easier access and prevents potential issues with browser and Silverlight compatibility.

 

Windows 8 and 10

Silverlight is compatible with Internet Explorer (not Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), so you'll need to use Internet Explorter to install BankLink Online.

Launch Internet Explorer

  1. Click on the Search button on your Windows task bar.

  2. In the search field, type “Internet”.

  3. In the displayed results, click Internet Explorer.
     

Logging In

The next step is to log in to BankLink online.

  1. In the Internet Explorer address bar, enter in the address you use to login to BankLink Online, for example https://practicesubdomain.banklinkonline.com/


    Please contact your accountant for details regarding your BankLink Online web address if you don’t have this information.

  2. Enter in your email address and password and click Login.

  3. Follow any installation prompts requesting you to install the Microsoft Silverlight application if they occur.

  4. After installing Microsoft Silverlight, restart Internet Explorer and navigate back to your BankLink Online login site.

  5. Enter in your email address and password and click Login.

  6. Accept the End User license agreement if it pops up.

  7. If a warning appears prompting that BankLink Online requires more disk space to be able to run, click Yes.

Install BankLink Online

The final step is to install BankLink Online onto your desktop. This option is only available once you have successfully logged into BankLink Online

  1. Right click in the BankLink Online window in the empty white space at the top of the screen.
  2. From the drop down that appears, select Install BankLink Online onto this computer.
     
  3. If the following security message appears, click Install.
     

BankLink Online Shortcut

After completing the steps above – a BankLink Online icon will appear on your desktop.

Double click on this icon and you will see the login screen. You will now be able to use this shortcut to login to BankLink Online without needing to use an Internet browser.

Windows 7

Silverlight is compatible with Internet Explorer (not Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), so you'll need to use Internet Explorter to install BankLink Online.

  3. Click on “Internet Explorer” from the search results list.
