BankLink Books and BankLink Practice
In MYOB BankLink there are five (5) different BankLink Online Statuses. The status identifies where the client file is at any action that's still required.
Status | Description |
---|---|
Uploaded by Practice | The client file has been uploaded to BankLink Online and is sitting there ready to be retrieved by the client. |
Downloaded by Books | The client file has been imported into BankLink Books and the client is currently working on the file. |
Uploaded by Books | The client file has been uploaded to BankLink Online and is ready to be retrieved by the practice. |
Downloaded by Practice | The practice has imported the client file from BankLink Online. |
Copy Uploaded by Practice | The client file has not been marked Read-Only when uploaded to BankLink Online from BankLink Practice. This generally means the accountant is still working on the client file while wanting to upload a copy of it for the client to download and review. If the client sent the file back via BankLink Online, because this file is not Read-Only in the accountant s BankLink Practice, it will appear under the Conflict section in the Get Client File from BankLink Online window. The accountant will need to determine if they want to download the client file and overwrite their own file, or leave it and upload the client file with their current work contained. The accountant can then import the client file from BankLink Online if the BankLink Online status is Uploaded by Books or Uploaded by Practice. This will allow the accountant to access and review the client file if needed prior to the client downloading their client file at their end. |
